Deadpool 3 will be the first R rated MCU movie

Kevin Feige has just confirmed that the new Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will be the most violent Marvel Studios production yet.

Update:
Deadpool 3 will be the first R rated MCU movie

Great news for fans of Deadpool and the upcoming Deadpool 3, now as part of the MCU.It’s not only been confirmed that a great actress has signed on to the movie in an unknown role (confirmed by Ryan Reynolds himself on Twitter to be Emma Corrin),but Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, has also confirmed that this new installment starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will be the first Marvel Studios production with an R rating, being the most violent in their universe so far.

Deadpool 3: R-rated, Emma Corrin-ed

Let's start with the new signing of the film; Emma Corrin, actress known for her role as Diana of Wales in The Crown, among others, becomes part of the Deadpool family, as Ryan Reynolds himself has shared through his official Twitter account: “New addition to the family! The Deadpool family, for clarity. Which is just like a real family except with less swearing… Welcome, Emma Corrin!” along with a couple of emojis of swords and a heart.

Much has been speculated about Corrin's mysterious role in Deadpool 3, with rumors that she would be playing Danger, an X-Men villain and Deadpool antagonist. In the last hours, however, Deadline has denied that Corrin is the dangerous mutant, so we will have to keep waiting to find out the role of the actress in Deadpool 3.

On the other hand, Kevin Feige has stated once more that Deadpool 3 will be the first MCU movie with an R rating: “It's amazing. And we've got Hugh Jackman coming back for our first Deadpool film within the MCU. That's our first R-rated film. To have Hugh come back is incredible. For me, personally, that is where I started. I remember sitting behind the camera – well behind the camera – at his audition for the film. It was his first on-set audition, and he flew up to Toronto to do a read with Anna Paquin. For him, and for me, and I think for all of the fans of Marvel, it's unbelievable what has happened in those 23 years. It's very full-circle having him come back in this new Deadpool film."
