Throné has the job of Thief, which is the most useful of all, as it allows you to steal items, weapons, and treasures from many NPCs scattered around the world. This is more than enough to make it an interesting choice to start the game. But if that's not enough, the Inventor side job can be obtained just a few minutes after completing the first chapter. Not only does it give you access to a very interesting side mission, but it also gives you access to an ability that allows you to summon a catapult and use it to launch attacks of various elements and effects against the entire group of enemies.

But there is more: as a good thief, Throné is very powerful when night falls, and as in Octopath Traveler 2, you can change the time in real-time, the first steps of the adventure are easier if you play at night, when you enter into combat you will receive a bonus in several stats that will remain active for a few rounds. In short, we believe that you will enjoy your first steps in the game if you bet on it.

Trick to steal easily in Octopath Traveler 2

If you played the first entry, you probably already thought about this, but if not - or you do not remember - it is convenient to know that when we use the field ability of a character capable of stealing from NPCs, in the list of objects with which we can get a success percentage. If it is 80% or more, it is very easy to get it, but if we have the possibility to steal powerful weapons and other objects that we need to complete secondary missions, things change, because there are some that have barely a 3% success rate.

If you fail to steal, the number of attempts available is reduced by 1. If you fail 5 times in a row, you will lose your reputation in the town and will not be able to steal again unless you go to a tavern and pay a large amount of money to restore your reputation. What is the trick? It's quite simple: we save the game, try to steal the precious object, and since it's normal to fail due to the low success rate when we reach the last attempt we go to the main menu and load the game again. It is only a matter of time before we get them all and we will never risk our reputation.
