What's in store for you in the Diablo 4 Open Beta? Everything you need to know

Last weekend, we had the chance to go out, slay enemies, and collect lots and lots of loot during the Diablo 4 Early Beta. But now things are about to change, because this weekend, from March 24th to 27th, the beta will be open for all those who wish to return to Sanctuary and get a sneak peek at what awaits them in the middle of this year.

With that in mind, we've put together this quick guide to what you can expect from Diablo 4 this weekend.

What platforms will the beta be available on?

Being an open beta for everyone, it is intended that the vast majority can try it, so you will find on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. As of this Wednesday, the Open Beta is already available for download on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Battle.net for PC.

Absolutely! And it's good to remember that this is always part of a beta for a game with online connectivity. In fact, the last anticipated beta had some issues with server timeouts. Even though there was an adjustment to fix that, it's important to remember that a lot more people will be able to play it now, so patience is one of the best tools you'll have. Take it easy.

What classes will be available?

While the early beta only had three classes, Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer, this weekend we will be adding a few more options to the repertoire by adding the Druid and Necromancer classes. This will allow players to test the 5 available classes that the game will come with at launch. The game will allow us to create our character and we will be able to choose a face, tattoos, scars, hair, among other aspects. Of course, do not get too attached to the characters (or the loot you have obtained) because once the beta is over, they will be deleted.

How much of the game will be playable?

Like the early beta, the open beta will allow us to play through the first few hours of the game, completing the prologue and the entire first act. Our character will be limited to level 25, but players will still be able to attack enemy demons.

While it promises to be very challenging, those who want something really interesting will be able to face the giant Ashava during some special times. This giant boss promises to be an intense battle, and it is best to play with friends to defeat it. Plan ahead and get ready to face him on March 25th at the following times:
