A new white Xbox Series X all-digital model is coming: release date and price
We just got our first look at a new Xbox Series X coming this year, with a sleek new look and a change to format that may not be to the liking of the community.
The next Microsoft console is not a successor, but an update of the most powerful Xbox console available today. This new white Xbox Series X is set to hit stores in June or July 2024 and would cost between $50 and $100 less. But there is another main difference with the current Xbox Series X besides the color: it is a digital-only model.

According to The Verge, several images have been leaked that correspond to the new white digital-only Xbox Series X. The matte white tone appears to be the exact same one used on the Xbox Series S Robot White released in 2020 alongside the original black Xbox Series X.
Although the external appearance of the console is basically identical to that of the 2020 original, including its rear and front ports, it is said that certain components would have been revised and improved compared to those of the standard model, such as the heat sink. Although the photos themselves may seem fake considering their low resolution, The Verge stated that they had access to additional documents that prove their authenticity.
As previously mentioned, Its MSRP should be between 50 and 100 dollars less than the current price of the black Xbox Series X ($499). The new model should be released in June or July 2024, and ultimately it would be a digital and cheaper alternative to the standard Xbox Series X model. The difference on an aesthetic level between this final version of the console and Brooklyn is striking., the codename given to the planned Xbox Series X refresh in Microsoft documents that leaked during its litigation against the FTC.
Brooklyn had a cylindrical shape and features like a front USB-C port which do not exist in the final model of the digital Xbox Series X. Although the specifications of the new model are not known, it seems sensible to discard everything that was shown at the time in the Brooklyn image in question.
