All three movie versions of Spider-Man are coming to Disney+

Marvel has just revealed that the Spider-Man live-action movies are finally coming to the Disney+ streaming service, and that includes Toby Maguire’s, Andrew Garfield’s, and Tom Holland’s versions.

Great news for fans of Spider-Man: Disney and Marvel have just announced the arrival of all of the Spider-Man live-action movies to Disney+. And while some might have thought that only the current MCU titles were the ones to get onto the streaming service, it’s actually a much larger part of the Spider-verse.

On April 21, all three Spider-Man movies by Sam Raimi will be available to be watched by subscribers of the service. This means you get to see Toby Maguire’s Spidey face off against the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, and Venom in the entire trilogy from the early 2000s. Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man will also be present starting tomorrow, while Tom Holland’s excellent Peter Parker debut in the MCU, Spider-Man: Homecoming, will make its way on May 12.

As if that wasn’t enough, May 12 is also the date on which Tom Hardy’s Venom arrives on the service, and Disney has once again revealed that more Spider-projects developed by Sony Pictures will be released on the platform during the year. It’s been a long time since the wallcrawler hero has been on the same platform as the rest of the Marvel Universe, so this is a very welcome surprise by fans around the world.

The Spider-Verse gets bigger and bigger

The past few years have been very good for the many different versions of Spider-Man there are. 2021 saw the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters, which brought back Maguire and Garfield as their previous incarnations of the hero for a mind-blowing team-up. Fans are currently waiting on the release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the first half of the sequel to the animated film by Sony Pictures that literally hanged the industry when it came out.

There are plenty of other Spidey projects on active development in different forms of media as well. While the comics are an eternal constant, we’re also getting another title from Insomniac in which Miles Morales will join Peter Parker to fight Venom and who knows what other villains. Meanwhile, Sony continues to work on many different spin-offs of the character and his world of villains and anti-heroes, like El Muerto, Spider-Woman, and Kraven the Hunter.
