‘Arcane’ Season 2 gets a first chilling poster showcasing Jinx’ change
The League of Legends animated show, Arcane, is set to come back to break our hearts with the tragedy of Jinx and Vi as Season 2 starts to reveal itself.
The first poster of ‘Arcane’ season 2 is one of those that makes your hair stand on end. A terrifying poster that demonstrates how much Jinx and Vi have changed since we knew them. The relationship between the two has gone from generating tenderness to causing real panic, to the anguish of knowing what is happening: a path that leads to tragedy. The series based on League of Legends returns to Netflix in November, and it does so ready to win even more Annie awards (in its debut it took nine of the most prestigious awards for the world of animation).
The poster directly alludes to the original poster for season 1, in which we had Jinx and Vi in the same position, but in that case it was Vi who protected Jinx. The gaze of the favorite character of so many followers of the series has become empty, from tenderness to lethality. It is clear that Arcane is a work of art even in their promotional posters.
‘Arcane’ season 2 promises to make us cry
In case we weren’t scared enough already, we remind you of what Ella Purnell said after finishing recording her lines. The actress, who is in charge of voicing Jinx in the series (and who, by the way, also stars in the adaptation of ‘Fallout’), warned that viewers will have to buy tissues:
“After recording the dialogue for the season finale I started to cry, so I think the fans will too. It’s devastating and no one will feel good after seeing it.”.
It didn’t take long for her comments to become associated with all those rumors that say that this second season will be a full stop for Jinx and Vi’s story. At the time it was leaked that the plan was to continue the series, but focusing on new characters from the world of Runeterra. Everything seems to indicate that in November we will see each chapter with our hearts in suspense and fearing the worst.
