Assassin’s Creed Mirage goes gold, will launch at an earlier date
Ubisoft surprised their fans by announcing that not only Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone Gold, but that its release date has also been moved up.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is part of the list of most anticipated releases of 2023 along with Starfield, Alan Wake 2, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Ubisoft’s new adventure, a delivery that caught everyone’s attention due to the commitment to return to the roots of the saga with a game that leaves the open world behind to be closer to the first Assassin’s Creed, just changed its release date... To be out ahead of schedule!
This was revealed by Ubisoft through their social networks, taking the opportunity to communicate that the game has officially gone Gold(meaning that the development has finished successfully). Originally, the plans were to release it on October 12, 2023, but as you can see, the date has been moved up and will be October 5 when it goes on sale for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
What is Assassin’s Creed Mirage like?
One of the main novelties of this new installment is, as we said above, the decision to leave behind the open world and the RPG system to go back to the origins of the series and offer an experience very similar to that seen in Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed 2, The Brotherhood and similar titles. So much so, that the game lasts five times less than Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will not have RPG progress as far as statistics are concerned and there are no plans to expand it through expansions or DLC. Nor will it have the annoying blocking of levels that brought so many headaches to various players due to having to level up before being able to advance in the main story.
As we said, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will go on sale on October 5, 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. That is, a week ahead of schedule.
