Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra seems to be right on track for its intended launch. Although officially slated for a 2025 release, recent comments from Khary Payton, the actor portraying Black Panther in the game, narrowed it down for the fans.

Skydance New Media’s game offers a unique take on the Marvel universe by transporting players back to the 1940s. Players will meet a young Steve Rogers, before becoming Captain America, and Azzuri, the World War II-era Black Panther. Together, they must confront the growing threat posed by Hydra.

During an interview with The Direct, Payton hinted at a “late 2025” release, indicating that the game’s development is on track and that players can expect its arrival in the latter half of the year. While an exact release date remains unconfirmed, the late 2025 window provides a clearer expectation for players eagerly anticipating the game’s arrival.

“We’re still working. We’re planning on 2025… We’re thinking like a Christmas situation. But I’m so excited”, stated the voice actor.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is coming out soon and it’s looking to be an epic adventure in a very violent and uncertain time of human history. With an interesting new setting, a thrilling new story, a talented cast, and the promise to release probably before the Holidays this year, it’s probably going to hype up the gamers.
