‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Gets First Look in First Trailer

“You Might be Captain America, but you are not Steve Rogers”

Names have changed, Captain America has changed, Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (now played by Harrison Ford) has changed... but the spirit of what it means to be Captain America will never change. This is evident in the first trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, featuring the return of Sam Wilson, who now appears on the big screen for the first time as Captain America. Check it out below:

The trailer shows a newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross trying to mend his relationship with Sam Wilson and make Captain America an official military position. However, this alliance is threatened when an international incident makes Isaiah Bradley, a retired super-soldier, the prime suspect. We’ll warn you right away, it looks like the ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ series will have some importance in understanding some of the events.

The trailer also features some new and old faces, including Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres and Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns, who along with Liv Tyler, return to the MCU after their first appearance in 2008′s ‘The Incredible Hulk’. We also have the highly anticipated debut of Giancarlo Esposito, as well as Shira Haas and Xosha Roquemore. And in between, we have the even more anticipated debut of Red Hulk in the movies.

Along with the trailer, Marvel Studios also released the first poster for the movie, which shows the iconic shield of the Sentinel of Liberty being crushed by the massive hand of the Red Hulk. You can check it out below:

‘Captain America: Brave New World’, directed by Julius Onah, will be released on February 14, 2025.
