‘Deadpool 3′ will be the Spider-Man No Way Home for Fox’s mutants in the MCU

‘Deadpool 3′, which will be the only Marvel Studios movie for 2024, continues to give us plenty to talk about. And since the crazy presentation of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine by the actor himself along with Ryan Reynolds, we have had all kinds of graphic material from the shoot, as well as official images, leaks and much more. Now, with just a few months to go before the film’s release and with filming in its final stages, Variety has published an article previewing numerous cameos from Fox’s mutant universe and predicting that it will be the ‘Spider-Man No Way Home’ of the X-Men.

Despite not offering any concrete details about the plot of the new film of the Merc with a Mouth, Variety has assured that Deadpool 3 will be among the 2024 films that will be a “sure hit” at the box office by bringing together “the two most lucrative characters of the bygone ‘X-Men’ universe: Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.” “‘Deadpool 3′ will be for Fox what ‘Spider-Man No Way Home’ was for Sony” in terms of reclaiming Spider-Man’s theatrical past as part of the current MCU. “This should do for 20th Century Fox’s Marvel movies what ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ did for Sony’s Marvel films - and perhaps fully introduce the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” they conclude in Variety.

Of course, there is no official confirmation for some of these cameos of mutants from the past, although we have already witnessed the presence and murder of one of them at the hands of Deadpool himself, with a large 20th Century Fox logo half-destroyed as part of a set where the action of the movie takes place. Of course, given the lighthearted and punkish tone of the Deadpool movies, we can expect all sorts of crazy and multiversal shenanigans alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
