Diablo 4: How to unlock stables and get a mount
Diablo IV is such a huge game, you might get tired of walking everywhere. Luckily, we’re here to tell you how to unlock mounts and stables in the game.
Diablo 4 is one of the most important releases of 2023. With almost a 100 million hours of playtime from just its early access period, Blizzard seems to have reached a consensus in a community that has already experienced a launch as problematic as that of the third installment. One of the questions that players ask themselves during their first steps through Sanctuary is how to make use of the mounts. Going fast between missions is key, and yet there’s no indication of what you need at the start besides a vague mission requirement.
How to get a mount in Diablo 4 and unlock the stables
When you start you will see that Kyovashad’s stable is accessible, but its use is limited. This is because you have to progress to a certain point in the main plot to speed up your travels through Sanctuary. To do this you must complete the first three Acts of the campaign, which are accessible from the beginning. Once you finish all three of them you will see that it unlocks act 4, the moment when you can get your first mount.
When you get to that point simply visit a stable (the horse icon under a roof) and the keeper will offer you your first mount at no additional cost, a simple horse that you can now customize with the cosmetic items you have unlocked. If you played the beta or have the Ultimate edition of Diablo 4 here we tell you how to get hold of them In case your profile does not have any, you can always spend in-game coins on the options offered to you in each stable.
There are several considerations to keep in mind when keeping mounts within reach. you can summon anywhere in the open world, but you will not be able to do it indoors or in dungeons. When you dismount you will have to wait a short refresh rate until you can get back on.
