‘Dragon Ball Super’ Confirms Goku’s Successor Is Neither Gohan Nor Goten
Chapter 103 makes it clear that the Legendary Saiyan’s heir is not who you thought.
If somebody comes all the way from outer space to Earth and asks about Goku’s heir and is told that it is neither Goten nor Gohan, he will automatically think that this person has lost his mind. But that’s the way it is, because ‘Dragon Ball Super’ chapter 103 confirmed that Goku’s successor is neither Gohan nor Goten.
Warning: Spoilers for Dragon Ball Super episode 103, below:
After the countless battles in which Goku risked his life - and lost it - to protect the inhabitants of Earth from villains such as Frieza, Cell, or Majin Buu, it is now time to find someone who is capable of inheriting his baton in the future. Well, in the aforementioned chapter, her identity is revealed: it is Pan, Goku’s granddaughter.
Pan is the daughter of Gohan and Videl, so she is also the granddaughter of the unmistakable Mr. Satan. With both human and Saiyan blood, Pan is destined to become a powerful warrior, and though she is still very young, Goku realizes that she will one day be his heir.
Keep in mind that the 104th chapter of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ will premiere on May 20th and will give way to a new arc, according to MangaPlus. In the meantime, Toyotaro will be in charge of showing illustrations and commentary of the series, as officially announced a few weeks ago on the official Dragon Ball site.
