The newest Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO shows off some of the favorite characters in Toriyama’s saga
The next game in the Dragon BAll Budokai Tenkaichi series is releasing next year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and trailers are ramping up the hype.

These are good times for ‘Dragon Ball’ video game fans, since in recent years highly acclaimed games such as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ have been released, and soon, in 2025, the long-awaited Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO launches. And if just a month ago they revealed 11 new fighters, The newest trailer focuses on several of the most beloved among followers of the work of Akira Toriyama.
The video that you can see just above is called ‘Master and Apprentice’, a theme in which dozens of characters could enter after what has been seen over so many years of manga and anime. Specifically, they are the following:
- Android 17 (future)
- Android 18 (future)
- Gohan (future)
- Trunks (futuro)
- Yamcha
- Krillin
- Muten Roshi
- Piccolo
- Whis
- Beerus
- Videl
