Drax, Groot, and Mantis from Marvel's ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ coming to Fortnite
Fortnite is getting new outfits for Drax, Mantis, and a new version of Groot from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy that will be available soon.
Fortnite continues in its endless crusade to add characters from all franchises and be as new outfits to the game. In this case, it’s Drax, Groot, and Mantis from Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. More specifically, their versions from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3′, the final film in James Gunn’s trilogy, which was released in 2023.
Here are the new outfits for Drax, Groot, and Mantis from Guardians of the Galaxy in Fortnite.
Fortnite patch 29.10, which was released on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, added a lot of new content to the game. Among the new files are new outfits for Drax, Groot, and Mantis from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3′ (2023). These three outfits are part of the same batch that includes new accessories such as pickaxes, back blings, and emotes/dances, as well as LEGO styles for all three.
Although Groot previously appeared in the game as one of the outfits of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Battle Pass, it was the adult version that we were able to see in the first ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ movie (2014). This new version of Groot is the one we could see in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3′ (2023), so it’s a good opportunity to get your hands on this popular Marvel character.

On the other hand, the arrival of Drax and Mantis in Fortnite means that almost all of the main members of the Guardians of the Galaxy are already in Fortnite; Star-Lord first arrived in the game as a new outfit on April 30, 2019, and was the first Fortnite collaboration (along with Black Widow), Groot and Rocket Raccoon arrived as an outfit and back bling with the premiere of Chapter 2 Season 4 on August 27, 2020, and Gamora’s outfit arrived in the game on August 15, 2021. Of course, Nebula, the former villain who reformed in the third movie, would be missing.
The Guardians of the Galaxy are some of Marvel’s most popular characters thanks to James Gunn’s trilogy of films. With the arrival of these three new outfits, fans of these movies should not miss the opportunity to get their hands on them to have the chance to handle their favorite heroes.
