Elden Ring: Nightreign will have a closed beta, and here’s how to register for it
FromSoftware is inviting players back to the Lands Between, as Elden Ring: Nightreign will hold a closed beta period for which you can register to play before launch.
The ceremony of The Game Awards 2024 left announcements as surprising like Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and the the revelation of Ciri as the protagonist of The Witcher 4, although what no one could expect was a new game from FromSoftware. It is called Elden Ring: Nightreign and it is a multiplayer title set in the Lands Between that will arrive in 2025. The exact date is not known, but you can try it next January 10th thanks to a beta.
Elden Ring: Nightreign is getting a beta test
The Network Test (beta) of Elden Rign Nightreign will be held on January 10 and will offer the possibility of trying out “a part of the game.” This test will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and although the details of it have not yet been specified, the official website of the game already has a button to receive email notifications about both versions and be aware of everything.
Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative game in which up to three players will begin to explore areas such as Limgrave, the Round Table, or Radahn Beach trying to survive both enemies and a kind of storm similar to that of Battle Royale like Fortnite or COD: Warzone. In addition, there will be a time system that will make three days pass in each game, increasing the difficulty and the rewards that can be obtained. It is a standalone game, or in other words, a paid title that is sold separately, unlike the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
