Elon Musk has revealed the name of his Diablo IV character
Tech magnate Elon Musk has not only revealed that he’s playing Diablo IV, but also touted his name in-game for all to see.
With so many controversies happening around both Elon Musk and Diablo IV during these past few weeks, no one expected a crossover. But that is what’s just happened after the tech baron took part in a Twitter Spaces, where he revealed that he’s playing Diablo IV.
While he didn’t share his opinion on how Blizzard Entertainment has handled the backlash for the most recent patch of the game, which has angered fans due to almost every class being nerfed and making the game even grindier than it was before in favor of seemingly extending the staying power of its upcoming first season, he did give Twitter users one bit of information. His character is named “IWillNeverDie.”
Is Elon Musk immortal in Diablo IV?
While the name certainly fits Musk’s personality, there is currently no way of finding out if he’s able to live up to his character’s name in-game. As there is no way to search for specific players at the moment, it might fall in the hands of the developers to reveal this information if they want. Luckily, Blizzard Entertainment president Mike Ybarra might be up to the task.
In the tweet above, Ybarra wondered how many times Musk might have actually died, hinting that he should have “the team” see how true his name is. He also wondered if he’s playing this character in Hardcore mode, which would mean that the name might even be a sort of challenge for the owner of Twitter( now to be rebranded as X).
Unfortunately Musk didn’t reveal anything else about his time with the game. So there’s no way to compare how good of a demon slayer you are, as we now neither what class he’s playing, what build he’s using, whether he’s got unique gear or not, or even what server he’s playing as.
Diablo IV is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox one, and Xbox Series X|S.
