There are barely three weeks left to enjoy NBA basketball again on our consoles or PC, and while Visual Concepts begins to shell out the NBA 2K24 news, as we have seen recently with the reveal of its gameplay. With the presence of the legendary Kobe Bryant, who sadly passed away more than 3 years ago, on the cover, this new installment comes with ProPLAY as the main claim on the court, although it will surely not be the only one. Below we leave you with all the information you need to know before its launch, for which there is practically nothing left.
NBA 2K24 release date
As usual with each installment, NBA 2K24 will arrive shortly before the start of the new NBA season. In this case, we will have it in stores on September 8, being a simultaneous release on all platforms, although as we know, there will be a different version for new-gen and another for the past generation.
NBA 2K24 Trailer
The latest NBA 2K24 gameplay trailer lets us enjoy in-game images of the game in which we can discover the benefits of ProPLAY. This technology has made it possible to capture movements directly from NBA basketball games, thus taking another step forward when it comes to recreating the most characteristic technical gestures and animations of the league’s players.

NBA 2K24 reaches all current platforms, as we said before, those are: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. However, it should be noted that the new-gen version will only release on PS5 and Xbox Series, that is, the PC version will be the same as on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
