The Fallout games are exploding their way into Steam’s trends, as hordes of players new and old come back to the games after the release of the Prime Video show.

It was evident that if the ‘Fallout’ series on Prime Video had some success, the games would experience a surge in players. And that is exactly what has happened: critics are praising the show with a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, and the public has loved it, as evidenced by the reactions of social media. Obviously, this has made many want to return, or discover for the first time, the post-apocalyptic world of the games, and as a result, basically all of the installments of the saga have enjoyed new peaks of players on Steam.

Fallout 4 has achieved its highest peak in players since 2016, which was one year after its launch. Although far from the almost 473,000 it managed to gather 8 years ago, The fourth installment of the saga has reached a peak in the last 24 hours of 93,294 players, placing it at number 15 on the list in the last day. As you can see in the image below , the growth during the month of April is palpable, marking on the graph (with the letter H) the launch of an offer that included all the games in the series with up to 77% discount, and which at the time of writing these lines is still available. From there, its growth has been unstoppable, and obviously, it has not been the only one.

Fallout 3 had a peak of 10,401 players 9 years ago, probably due to the fever prior to the launch of Fallout 4. In the last 24 hours, it has managed to gather 7,368 players, a figure that, although high, is far from the 25,867 of Fallout: New Vegas, considered by many the best in the saga, and whose historical peak stands at 51,038.

Fallout 76 reaches its all-time peak

And what about the less popular deliveries? They are no exception, with the once reviled and now reborn massive multiplayer Fallout 76 reaching 43,887 simultaneous players in the last day, a notable as well as surprising figure since it represents its historical peak since its launch in 2020. It should be noted, as can be deduced, that this was an eventful launch since the game was harshly criticized especially due to its technical errors, although through work and multiple updates, the game managed to redirect itself to become a highlight for fans of the saga.
