First on-set images of the new Superman by David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane surface

How big is the ‘S’? Are there bright colors? What about the red undies? The first images of David Corenswet on set wearing the full Superman outfit have answers.

It is true that James Gunn and DC Studios had already shown the first image of the new Superman, but it was so noticeably thought out and edited to perfection that many were waiting for the ones that have arrived today. This time we woke up with a good number of snapshots of the filming of ‘Superman’ in which David Corenswet’s outfit as the Man of Steel in all its splendor and in which its appearance and choices can finally be properly judged. But not only that, we also have a look at the new Lois Lane by Rachel Brosnahan.

Filming is already underway because the film is not that far away from release. With James Gunn at the director’s chair (Guardians of the Galaxy), its premiere is scheduled for summer of next year, more specifically August 11, 2025. Even so, little has been revealed so far about the plot, besides it being greatly influenced by ‘Superman for All Seasons’, a short comic run by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale in 1998.

David Corenswet’s physical change for ‘Superman’

A few weeks ago, and after more than six months of training with Paolo Masciti, the fitness guru in Hollywood, David Corenswet shared other images himself... but without a suit. The actor wanted to silence all the haters who criticized his choice as Superman and who said that the suit was too big for him. In them, you could see him go from a more slender presence to a more similar build to Henry Cavill’s and with many extra pounds of muscle.

Reminding us of Hugh Jackman’s physical changes to play Wolverine, Corenswet’s dedication is obvious and has convinced many to give a chance to this new Superman with which James Gunn intends to reboot the DC universe once again.
