DCEU

David Corenswet, the new Superman, is seen with his remarkable physical change and his Clark Kent look

The star of James Gunn’s ‘Superman Legacy’ appears in Mexico to shoot a commercial, taking advantage of a break in filming.

Update:
David Corenswet Superman

David Corenswet, the actor who will play the new cinematic Superman in James Gunn’s upcoming ‘Superman Legacy’, was recently spotted in Mexico showing off his more than obvious physical change to play the Man of Steel in the movies. In addition to unveiling his Clark Kent look, with dyed black hair and a hairstyle very reminiscent of previous iterations of the character, both in film and in the comics. This has been revealed through social media with the publication of various photos of the actor while he was shooting some kind of commercial or photo shoot.

The next Superman shows muscle in new photos

So, and taking advantage of a break in the shooting of ‘Superman Legacy’ -an interval in which James Gunn himself has begun shooting the first episode of the second season of ‘Peacemaker’ with John Cena- actor David Corenswet was spotted in Mexico shooting some kind of commercial, showing off his new look both in terms of muscle and look in pure Clark Kent style.

David Corenswet has undergone intense training and dieting over the past year to gain several pounds of muscle, going from a slender and athletic body to a much more muscular appearance. Of course, without reaching the levels of Henry Cavill, the previous actor responsible for bringing Superman to life as part of the now defunct DCEU. In addition, we can see Corenswet with a hairstyle that strongly reminds us of Clark Kent, especially for the darker color of his hair.

The release date for ‘Superman Legacy’ is still a long way off on the calendar, as it is scheduled for July 11, 2025, as the first film in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DCU and the kick-off of its first phase, called Gods and Monsters.
