Galactus devours theaters: Marvel unveils colossal popcorn bucket for Fantastic Four: First Steps

Marvel fans, prepare your wallets, and your shelf space. To celebrate the release of 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' on July 25, 2025, AMC Theatres has unveiled what might be the most over-the-top movie tie-in yet: a Galactus-shaped popcorn bucket that’s as massive as the villain himself.
The universe’s biggest popcorn vessel?
Dubbed the “Giant Galactus Popcorn Vessel,” this limited-edition collectible is:
- 17.5 inches tall and 20 inches wide (with horns attached)
- Sculpted in the likeness of Galactus’ helmeted head
- Finished in metallic purple with LED light-up eyes
- Capable of holding a whopping 361 ounces of popcorn
- Priced at $79.99, making it the most expensive Marvel bucket to date
The popcorn is served from the top of Galactus’ helmet—because of course it is.
A collector’s dream (or nightmare)
The bucket is already generating buzz online, with fans calling it everything from “the ultimate Marvel flex” to “a $79 snack mistake I’ll cherish forever.” It’s available at select AMC, Regal, and Cinemark locations, and quantities are limited. Some fans have even started flipping pre-orders on eBay.
