The Locust are back—Gears of War: Reloaded looks incredible in first screenshots
The remastered classic shows off its 4K visuals, enhanced lighting, and a release date fans won’t want to miss.
Microsoft has officially revealed the first images of Gears of War: Reloaded, a full remaster of the 2006 original that redefined third-person shooters. With a complete visual overhaul, this new version brings the gritty Locust war into a new generation, featuring 4K resolution, upgraded textures, and cinematic lighting improvements.
The game is being rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 and will support full cross-play and cross-progression across platforms. It’s also day-one on Xbox Game Pass.
