Gen V students advance through the school year and confirm a second season

The creators of Gen V promise a second season even wilder than the first.

Definitely, Gen V is not a series of teenagers with their hormones pumped to the max, spending their classes waiting for the prom to pick up the captain of the cheerleading squad or the quarterback of the football team: it’s a spin-off of The Boys with all that entails. Dark humor, gore... The series combines all the ingredients that made the original series a reference for all fans of superheroes and the most repulsive villains, which is why Amazon Studios has decided to renew it for a second season.

Gen V’ will have a second semester

Not all the students of Godolkin University pass the course, as we have seen, but Marie, Emma and company will return with more adventures once the strike of the actors and writers is resolved and the success of the series is verified on Prime Video, where a new episode is released every Friday. This is how ecstatic the protagonists were when they heard the news published by the official account of X/Twitter of Gen V.

“We couldn’t be happier to make a second season of Gen V,” said the show’s creators. “These are characters and stories we’ve grown to love, and we are thrilled to know people feel the same! The writers are already working on the new season — the sophomore year is gonna be wild, with all the twists, heart, satire, and exploding genitalia you’ve come to expect from the show.”

Meanwhile, and with the brief but intense cameo of Soldier Boy in the last episode available (the sixth), the series is heading towards the end of this first season. The second season promises to be as emotional as this one, with the finale airing on November 3. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the fourth season of The Boys is scheduled to premiere in early 2024, which seems to be completely brutal.
