Few cinematic monsters have left a mark quite like Godzilla. Since his 1954 debut, the legendary kaiju has starred in countless films, with Toho’s productions remaining the most iconic.
Now, Godzilla is making waves in the Marvel Universe with the crossover ‘Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe’. The series pits him against Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four, but one battle stands out: his fusion with Venom.
Venom-Godzilla: A monstrous combination
The August issue of Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe, written by Gerry Duggan and illustrated by Javier Garrón, features a jaw-dropping twist: Venom bonds with Godzilla, turning the kaiju into a symbiote-powered force of destruction.
This isn’t the first time Marvel has explored the idea. In ‘Godzilla vs. Spider-Man’, released on April 30, Spider-Man barely managed to stop Venom-Godzilla from leveling New York City. However, the symbiote’s connection to Godzilla didn’t end there, and fans can expect more chaos in upcoming issues.

Marvel’s crossover event continues, with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes scrambling to stop the rampaging kaiju. The series promises unexpected alliances, including Black Panther uncovering a shocking Vibranium-related mystery.
