House of the Dragon Season 2: there is already an approximate window for its release
The crows have flown and have given us an approximate date when we will return to follow the Valyrian drama of House of the Dragon.
House of Dragons Season 2 already has a release window and it will be in “early summer” 2024.
The date was revealed by Casey Bloys, HBO’s network chief, during a press event held this Thursday in New York, according to Variety. Along with this date, the first trailer of the season was presented behind closed doors, although according to the media, these details are under embargo. It should be remembered that this season’s shooting has not been affected by the writers’ and actors’ strike, as the season’s scripts are already in place and production is taking place outside the United States.
House of the Dragon: a hit for HBO
The Game of Thrones spin-off, which takes us 200 years into the past of the series, became a real hit for HBO, becoming the biggest debut for HBO MAX (as it was then called) with 10 million viewers. The story, which follows the Targaryen dynasty in Westeros after the unification of the Seven Kingdoms, reached a total of 29 million viewers in the United States alone after the first five episodes.

Along with the announcement of Season 2, new details have been revealed about the upcoming spin-off, The Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight. According to Bloys during a Q&A, this series is expected to begin filming next spring, pending the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike. Set 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series will revolve around Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg. The series was announced in March of this year and is scheduled to run for a total of 3 seasons.
