Krafton

InZOI, the great rival of The Sims, is already available in a minimal configuration, is your computer ready?

The game has higher technical requirements than The Sims 4, given the obvious visual leap.

inzoi, the sims, los sims

InZOI Studio and Krafton have released the system requirements for their life simulation game inZOI. And although the developers claim that they are not competing with The Sims 4, the truth is that there are few life simulators with these characteristics, so the comparison and some confrontation is almost inevitable.

The minimum system requirements for inZOI are as follows

  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 64 bit
  • Processor: Intel i5 10400 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 2060 (6GB VRAM) / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6GB VRAM)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage 40GB
  • Internet connection: Required

  • Processor: Intel i7 12700, AMD Ryzen 5800
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 3070 (8GB VRAM), AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 75 GB of available space

A video has been released comparing the game’s graphics on different hardware configurations, showing the visual differences based on system specifications. You can view the comparison here.

One of the keys will be how it handles play sessions and the incorporation of mods, a key part of the experience with this type of title and where Maxis' title shines with an amount of official and unofficial content that is hard to beat, so much so that even the development of a new installment was canceled. However, The Sims 4 often suffers from optimization problems during extended play and when using mods, facets that are yet to be explored in Krafton’s new proposal.
