Is Taylor Swift in ‘Deadpool 3’? The director is not denying the crossover

Shawn Levy, director of ‘Deadpool 3′, spoke about the rumors of Taylor Swift appearing in the movie. And he couldn’t deny anything.

Update:
Taylor Swift Deadpool 3 rumores director no desmiente ni confirma

The Taylor Swift phenomenon doesn’t seem to be slowing down. With rumors flying about her appearance in ‘Deadpool 3′, the film’s director did not want to confirm or deny the collaboration, encouraging followers to wait and see the development of events. The statements have served as fuel thrown on the fans’ fire.

“They sure are loud,” said Shawn Levy in an interview with The Wrap. “I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”

Full screen

Rumors have pointed specifically to Swift taking on the role of Dazzler, a mutant from the X-Men universe who is quite beloved by the community. In fact, Bosslogic, a well-known social media artist, imagined her dressed as the superhero. Both the singer and the character share their love for microphones. The mutant was linked to the world of acting from the beginning. Her power, on the other hand, allows her to convert sound vibrations into beams of energy and light. We don’t know if Swift will eventually become her, but the truth is that for the moment her followers can maintain hope.

When will ‘Deadpool 3′ be released?

Shan Levy also took advantage of the same interview to share his position on the current situation of the film, which is on an indefinite pause due to the strikes that the group is experiencing. “I wish I knew. I don’t even know if we officially have [a release date]. I know we were gonna be May 3. Certainly, the actors’ strike and the long pause in production have put that release date in true risk.”

“We’ve shot half the movie. I’ve edited half the movie. We’re dying to get back to work and get this movie out next year.”
