Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the second film in the new DCU
While we await the release of James Gunn’s Superman, we have Supergirl on the horizon: Woman of Tomorrow. In addition to Momoa trading Aquaman’s scales for Lobo’s skin, the movie will also star Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, and Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze.
The film is inspired by a comic book miniseries published between 2021 and 2022, created by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, in which Supergirl contemplates her existence until an alien girl asks for her help on a mission of revenge.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be released in United States theaters on June 26, 2026.
