Jean-Claude Van Damme dancing ‘Kickboxer’ style at age 64 is the funniest thing you’ll see today

The legendary action and martial arts movie actor recreated a scene that has already become a universal meme.

Jean-Claude Van Damme is an institution of action and martial arts cinema, one of the biggest stars of the genre in the 80s and 90s, giving us such iconic films as ‘Bloodsport’, ‘Kickboxer’, ‘Lionheart’, ‘Double Impact’, ‘Universal Soldier’, ‘Hard Target’ or ‘TimeCop’, among many others, although it is also true that his career has gone downhill in the last decade, appearing in action comedies and B-movies of dubious quality. Be that as it may, JCVD will be remembered for many great moments, one of the most famous being the dance in the 1989 movie ‘Kickboxer’, which has already become a universal meme. Well, at 64 years old, the actor wanted to repeat those same dance moves for his fans; and the proof is on his official Instagram account.

Van Damme brings back his mythical dance from ‘Kickboker’

Kickboxer’ not only made the actor a star in the late 80’s, it also gave us one of the most peculiar dances in martial arts cinema, with its protagonist, Kurt Sloane, giving it his all in a Thai bar with two girls to the rhythm of Paul Hertzog’s song “Feeling So Good Today”. So much so that his conspicuous demonstration of rhythm and dance infuriates the punks in the bar, leading to a memorable fight in which Sloane knocks out one by one those who dare to confront him.

Now, Van Damme himself has wanted to pay tribute to his own dance from more than thirty years ago by repeating some of those steps that are now a meme, all next to a spectacular pool, at the age of 64. A video that he shared through his official Instagram account, after recently admitting that he had some problems with his official social media accounts, which were hacked.

Real Van Damme is on Instagram and Facebook ONLY at the moment until I re-cube, my YouTube and X password from those people so please don’t give any money or favour because I’m not asking anything from those platforms YouTube and X are being held hostage and Thanks again thank you very much for all those years of being following me and supporting me without you I will not exist,” the Belgian actor shared.

‘Kickboxer’ can be watched in the United States through platforms such as Prime Video, fuboTV, The Roku Channel, VUDU Free, Pluto TV, and VIX.
