Last chance to try out Monster Hunter Wilds as Capcom extends final beta
The company is aware that the PSN debacle has prevented many people from properly testing the game.

Monster Hunter Wilds is one of the most anticipated video games of the year, and naturally, hundreds of thousands of players took the opportunity to try it out in advance thanks to the first closed beta organized by Capcom. Unfortunately, PS5 users were unable to access it due to the global crash of the PlayStation Network (PSN), which caused great disappointment among this part of the community.
In response to this disparity, since the PC and Xbox versions of the game were able to be played without any problems, Capcom has announced that the second open beta of Monster Hunter Wilds will be extended by an additional 24 hours. This will give everyone an extra day to test out the new installment of the saga. The official schedule for Beta 2 is as follows
- Session begins: Thursday, February 13, 2025 7:00 pm PT
- Session ends: Monday, February 17th, 2025 6:59 pm PT
Capcom aims to make everyone happy with Monster Hunter Wilds
On the other hand, it should be noted that all rewards earned during the second open beta of the game can be redeemed in the final version of Monster Hunter Wilds. This will undoubtedly encourage many more users to collect all kinds of items and complete all the missions that grant the best rewards, as they will be able to speed up the start of their game once the title arrives in stores on February 18, 2025. On another note, Capcom confirmed that PS5 Pro console owners will have access to a truly enviable graphics configuration. In this version, the game will feature a resolution mode, a performance mode, and a balanced mode that will take advantage of technologies such as ray tracing and PSSR.
