Lead actress in line to play Abby in The Last of Us is no stranger to Naughty Dog
Kaytlin Dever has worked with the studio behind The Last of Us and Uncharted.
Although Kaytlin Dever became known to the general public with ‘No One Will Save You’, she already has a considerable acting career, having participated in productions such as ‘Dopesick’, ‘Unbelievable’ or ‘Monsterland’, among others. However, her breakthrough in the Alien movie just a few weeks ago has put her in the spotlight, to the point where she is now the favorite to become Abby in the second season of ‘The Last of Us’.
In fact, after reviewing her resume, we discover one clue that already makes her a heavy favorite to take on the role of Ellie’s antagonist in this second season of the HBO series, and that is that Dever has worked with Naughty Dog before.
The young actress first worked with the studio on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, when she was 19 years old. Dever plays Cassie Drake, Nathan and Elena’s daughter, who we meet at the end of the game. This appearance made Cassie appear as a protagonist in all the rumors about a sequel or spin-off of the Uncharted franchise, since Naughty Dog has ended its work on this franchise and she would be in charge of a new studio in any case.
