Leaked images from ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 reveal the return of one of the most beloved characters in a surprising role
There are big plans for this character’s return, and it also reveals Wilson Fisk’s future.
The second season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is still airing on Disney+, with only two episodes released so far, but in the meantime, the crew is already filming the third season. In recent weeks, several set photos have leaked, revealing very few surprises, but the latest ones have been surprising, as they hint at the return of a character from this universe who was still appearing on Netflix.

Which character is returning in the third season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’?
The reunion of ‘The Defenders’ is closer than ever, as Jessica Jones’ return in this second season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will be joined by Luke Cage’s in the third. Mike Colter has already been photographed on set, dressed in a way that hints at the role he’ll play... and what’s going to happen with Wilson Fisk in these episodes.
Colter looks extraordinarily elegant, wearing an outfit that’s very similar—if not practically identical—to the one he wore in the ‘Devil’s Reign’ story arc, written by Chip Zdarsky. The Canadian author’s run is serving as a major source of inspiration for the series—far more so, in fact, than Frank Miller’s, which is the one that gives the series its name—and in it, Cage runs for mayor of New York. This marks Fisk’s departure from office; after enacting the anti-hero law, he sees public opposition to him escalate until he is forced to resign. With no opposition or other candidates left, Cage, thanks to his impeccable reputation and his closeness to the people, emerges as the new mayor of the Big Apple.

Not only that, but Deborah Ann-Woll has also been spotted on set. While this might not seem significant, it actually is, since it means she’s still alive after this second season. In the ‘Guardian Devil’ story arc, directed by Kevin Smith, Karen Page is killed by Bullseye, adding her name to the long list of Matt Murdock’s deceased girlfriends.
