Leonardo DiCaprio’s advice to Jennifer Lawrence about working with Martin Scorsese: “You’re going to have an amazing time”
The actress and director will work together for the first time in ‘What Happens At Night.’

Leonardo DiCaprio knows exactly what it’s like to work with the eccentric Martin Scorsese (‘The Wolf of Wall Street,’ ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ etc.), so he’s the ideal person to warn Jennifer Lawrence about the director’s peculiarities. The two will star in Scorsese’s new project, ‘What Happens At Night,‘ an adaptation of Peter Cameron’s novel of the same name, in which they will play an American couple trying to adopt a baby in Europe. To do so, they stay in a seemingly empty hotel, where the few guests are truly peculiar.
Drawing on his extensive experience, the actor gave the American actress some curious advice in Variety’s Actos on Actors: “He’s going to give you a lot of film references. They usually come in the form of a DVD. And if you don’t have a DVD player, get one.” In addition, DiCaprio assures us that the filmmaker’s obsession with capturing every detail reaches such a level that it won’t be unusual for Lawrence to have to sit down and watch entire films just to focus on a specific detail.

We might see some Japanese ghost films for reference, just to get the tone of it. You’re going to have an amazing time.”
