Megan Fox says she felt “violated” during nude scene in ‘Jennifer’s Body’: “I sensed the stare”
The actress recalls a disturbing moment on set, and the psychic instinct that warned her something was wrong.

Megan Fox, star of 'Transformers’ and 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, has long been considered one of Hollywood’s most iconic sex symbols of the 2000s. But behind the fame and red carpets, she’s also been candid about the darker side of stardom. In a resurfaced interview with Variety, Fox opened up about a deeply unsettling experience while filming the cult horror-comedy 'Jennifer’s Body‘, and the moment she realized she might have a sixth sense.

“I felt violated”: Fox’s chilling experience on set
During the filming of a nude lake scene in 'Jennifer’s Body’ (2009), Fox says she had a powerful psychic intuition that someone was watching her, despite strict no-camera rules and a cleared-out set.
“I had a really strong intuition and looked exactly in the direction where I could feel the energy and the focus of a stare, of a lens, of something,” she recalled. “And I thought: ‘There’s someone over there.’”

Fox was wearing nude-colored underwear and pasties for the scene, but the sense of exposure was overwhelming. Her instincts were right: a photographer had managed to sneak onto the set and capture unauthorized images. Her agent confirmed the breach shortly after the scene was filmed.
“The last thing I had was my body”
The incident left Fox feeling “overexposed and hunted,” she said. At the time, her fame was skyrocketing thanks to 'Transformers’, and paparazzi followed her relentlessly, even onto closed sets.
“The last thing I had that was mine, the last bit of privacy I had, was my body. And I didn’t want to show it,” she said. “I felt so violated… It was so much more than I ever wanted to give the world.”
Fox described breaking down in tears and retreating from the spotlight after the incident. Despite wearing protective garments, the emotional toll was immense.

A cult film with a complicated legacy
‘Jennifer’s Body’, directed by Karyn Kusama and written by Diablo Cody, has since become a feminist cult classic. But at the time of its release, it was heavily marketed around Fox’s sex appeal, something the actress has since criticized as reductive and damaging.
Fox’s story adds another layer to the film’s legacy, highlighting the real-world pressures and invasions of privacy that actresses often face behind the scenes.
