Neither Ken nor Sagat, these are the skins of the collaboration between Overwatch and Street Fighter
Here comes a new challenger!
Since its collaboration with One Punch Man, Overwatch has not stopped experimenting with crossovers. The latest one pits it against one of the most iconic fighting franchises of all time. As announced at EVO Japan, Overwatch 2 will welcome eight of the World Warriors from Street Fighter 6.
Overwatch x Street Fighter, all skins announced
Through a collaboration trailer, the 8 skins that will take over Overwatch heroes were revealed, with Hanzo turning into Ryu or Widowmaker turning into Cammy, just to name a few.
Aside from Ryu’s appearance at the end of the video, we don’t have a clear glimpse of what these skins will look like in-game, as the trailer is entirely conceptual and animated. However, we do know which heroes will represent each fighter:
- Hanzo as Ryu
- Juno as Chun-Li
- Kiriko as Juri
- Sigma as M. Bison
- Soldier:76 as Guile
- Widowmaker as Cammy
- Winston as Blanka
- Zenyatta as Dhalsim
In addition to the skins, it is expected that there will be other Street Fighter-related details such as emotes and additional cosmetics, as has happened in previous collaborations. As for pricing, it hasn’t been revealed how much each skin will cost, but if you’ve kept an eye on previous collaborations, you can get an idea of how much you’ll have to spend to make Juno look like Chun-Li.
For now, the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter will launch on May 20th.
