If it seemed like Nintendo had been quiet, it’s because it was already preparing something special. This morning, we were surprised by the announcement that tomorrow we’ll have a Nintendo Direct focused on the next installment in the company’s strategy franchise, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. The game already has a release date, which is just around the corner: September 17.

When and what time is the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Nintendo Direct?
The recently announced Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave-only Nintendo Direct will take place next tuesday, August 4, at 7 a.m. PT. You can watch it on Nintendo’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as on any smart device compatible with the Nintendo Today app.

Not much is known about Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave… at least on this side of the pond, since Nintendo of Japan has been releasing information about the characters we’ll encounter throughout the story. According to the report, the presentation is expected to last 20 minutes and will focus on providing new information about the game. Although we’ve already seen a couple of trailers for the game, we haven’t seen as much gameplay as we would like, so that will surely be an important part of tomorrow’s presentation as well. Plus, we’ll have to see what twists or changes this installment brings that make the game’s strategy feel fresh… and of course, whether there will be amiibo, since there are always Fire Emblem amiibo.
