Let’s explore something you don’t want to miss: how to join the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion Remastered!
What is the Dark Brotherhood?
The Dark Brotherhood is one of Oblivion’s most infamous factions, alongside the Mage’s Guild and Fighter’s Guild. However, many agree that it’s the best faction in the game, thanks to its thrilling quests and valuable rewards.
If you’ve ever wondered how to gain entry, here’s exactly what you need to do!
Step-by-Step Guide to Joining the Dark Brotherhood
- Commit an Innocent Murder: Find an innocent NPC in any city or location. Ambush and kill them without witnesses, then flee the scene.
- Sleep in a Bed: Go to an inn, rent a bed, and sleep. Upon waking, you’ll be greeted by a mysterious figure—Lucien Lachance, who has taken notice of your lethal skills.
- Eliminate Rufio: Lachance will assign you a target, Rufio, who resides in the Inn of Ill Omen near Bravil. Travel via Green Road, locate Rufio, and execute him stealthily.
- Sleep Again: Find another bed, sleep, and Lucien Lachance will reappear. This time, he will officially invite you to join the Dark Brotherhood and instruct you to visit the abandoned house in Cheydinhal.
- Enter the Dark Brotherhood: Upon arriving at the house, a mysterious voice will ask:“What is the color of the night?” Respond with “Sanguine, brother.”
At this point, you will officially enter the Dark Brotherhood, unlocking exclusive missions and special rewards!
