Persona 3 Reload’s anime cutscenes were done by the studio behind the ‘One Piece’ remake

Persona 3 Reload has a very special secret sauce. Among the new stuff added to the game in this remake, there is the complete renewal of the animation scenes. The anime parts of the game were redone by a major studio that is already behind huge titles, like ‘Attack on Titan’ and ‘Spy x Family’, and the upcoming ‘The One Piece’ that’ll remake said series for Netflix: WIT Studio.

The team collaborated with Atlus to translate the animated scenes with their personal stamp. For those who haven’t played it, Persona 3 Reload intersperses some animated moments between narrative sections. They are brief scenes, a couple of minutes at most, but they give substance to the story they are trying to tell. With the game already on the market, the mystery of those responsible behind the very high quality of its scenes is revealed.
