There are many things that everyone wants to know about the premiere of the second season of ‘The Last of Us’ on Max. How Jackson’s people survive, what happened to Joel and Ellie, when Abby will start to play a leading role... There is a lot of material to cut at the plot level, but there are also anecdotes and curiosities that are commented on daily, such as the changes with respect to the video game or the way to capture the age difference -and physical- of Ellie between the two chapters of the saga.

In The Last of Us (video game and first season of the series), Ellie is only 14 years old, while in The Last of Us: Part 2 and the second season, she is five years older, 19. In the video game series, the physical change is obvious from the first moment, but in the series, we can say that it is practically the same, for obvious reasons, despite the good work done in terms of characterization. This is something that many journalists often ask the British actress, as many people want to know how she prepared to play a person five years older.

It’s a question that doesn’t seem to amuse Ramsey much at this point, as she says she’s tired of having to answer the same thing over and over again. “I’ve grown up! Ellie’s grown up!” Ramsey said. “There’s nothing to tell! I’ve got nothing to say to you! I’m going to get asked that question, probably, every day for the next few weeks, so no offense to everyone asking that question, but that’s the question I am a little bit sick of.”
