Sims beware: inZOI unveils its roadmap with free expansions, clothing, and furniture
The biggest competitor to The Sims is gearing up for a packed few months of content following its release.
For years, The Sims has stood alone as the gold standard for life simulation games. That era is about to change. On March 28, the early access version of inZOI, Krafton’s answer to the genre, will launch on PC. This bold move aims to fill a gap in the market, as the Maxis franchise has opted not to release a fifth installment. We’ve already had the chance to explore it in depth, but our initial impressions lacked a forward-looking perspective. So, how will the game expand over the coming months?
The content plan announced by its developers is straightforward: pay €39.99 for early access (and don’t think about pirating it—they’ve promised consequences!) to get all expansions and updates leading up to version 1.0. Here’s what you can look forward to in the months following the Steam release. Keep in mind, the timeline is subject to change based on community feedback.
