Respawn Entertainment

Some players are missing extra items from the Pre-Order and Deluxe Editions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is there a solution?

Bonus cosmetics in the Pre-Order and Deluxe Editions have disappeared for some players of the Star Wars title; Respawn is working on a fix.

Update:
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

The launch of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was not easy. The PC version was released with several optimization issues, for which Respawn Entertainment was forced to apologize on social media. The developer, which has already released several patches, has encountered a new problem: some players are losing bonus items from the pre-order and deluxe editions.

According to a user on an EA web page dedicated to solving technical problems, after saving the game he lost the components of the Hermit lightsaber, one of the cosmetics inspired by the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This happened, according to the user “after having saved and shut the game down and after the latest major patch.” The CM of Electronic Arts has replied that the studio is aware of the error and they are already working on a possible solution.

“Hi everyone, The teams are aware of the reports and are investigating the issue. If we have any updates, we hope to be able to share them with you as soon as possible. In the meantime, it is recommended to try to repair the game files to see if that restores access to the bonus items for you, or make sure that the DLCs are installed correctly.”

Possible solutions to the problem

The way to do this varies depending on the platform. On Steam, you have to uncheck the DLC box, restart the game, and then check it again. On the other hand, the EA app has an option to repair the files, while the Epic Games Store has a special button (‘verify’) that detects whether the installation is corrupted or not. In the Xbox Series X/S menu, you can view and manage extra content, just like on PS5.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
