Starfield is getting compared to Cyberpunk 2077, and a CDPR developer answered

One developer from CD Projekt RED claims that what happened to their game is happening to Starfield, and that they’re now being compared to ridicule.

Cyberpunk 2077 y Starfield

Comparisons are in the nature of human beings, and although it can be seen as hateful, it seems that they cannot be avoided. After the launch of Starfield, there have been quite a few videos that have brought the Bethesda Game Studios title and Cyberpunk 2077 face to face, another of the most popular RPGs in recent years. However, Patrick K. Milles, Senior Quest Director at CD Projekt RED, has criticized this type of practice, which is often used to ridicule one of the games.

This fake criticism is actively harmful to the way the audience interacts with the medium and I hate it,” he said. The developer was not squeamish: “How times have changed … but it’s very funny to see after how many hundreds of these were made to ridicule cp2077.”

Cyberpunk 2077 prepares for more improvements

It is true that Cyberpunk 2077 had an unfortunate launch, but CD Projekt RED has worked tirelessly to improve the product. Although the PS4 and Xbox One versions will not receive any more updates, the Polish studio is preparing for the arrival of Update 2.0, which will add a multitude of new features, including the revamped police pursuit system and drive-by shootings. In this article, you can discover everything that will be added.

In addition to the patch, the first and only expansion is just around the corner. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will go on sale next September 26 for Xbox Series, X, Xbox Series S, PS5, and PC. Read our first impressions here.
