Starfield Shattered Space will expand Bethesda’s universe: Here is the first major DLC and its release window

Since its launch in September 2023, the creators of Fallout and The Elder Scrolls have added numerous enhancements.

Update:
Starfield: Espacio Quebrantado

From the surface to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Starfield, the space game of Bethesda Game Studios, emulates the universe and expands more and more. The ship captained by Todd Howard has been immersed in repairs, but also in construction. After a rough landing, the crew has been busy improving, adding, and debugging. Their next project is Shattered Space, the game’s first major expansion. As you might expect, the creators of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim unveiled the new content at the Xbox Games Showcase, where the trailer, first details, and release date were revealed: it will be available sometime in 2024 for the Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Game Pass.

A mysterious force lurks in the city of Dazra, capital of the House of Va’ruun. Players must investigate a cosmic threat, explore a new planet, and find new weapons and equipment. In addition, the new update, which will be available tonight, will add the Creation Kit, the tools for modders.

Starfield’s latest changes

Starfield’s May update was the most comprehensive update to date. Not only did it fix bugs and issues that had been lingering since launch, but it also gathered feedback from players on some of the most controversial aspects of the RPG. The maps within the cities were confusing, causing many players to get lost in the streets of the cities. As a result, Bethesda decided to introduce “major improvements to the surface maps,” with the goal of getting the protagonist to his destination without major headaches.

Among the new features implemented are new graphics modes for the Xbox Series X version, including the ability to enjoy the game at 60 FPS or with the frame rate enabled.

Starfield is available for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. At the moment, Microsoft has denied that it is working on a PS5 version.
