Summer Game Fest 2023 confirms PlayStation, Xbox, and over 40 names more for the show

Summer Game Fest has revealed the first companies that have confirmed their participation in the great summer event. Geoff Keighley, producer of the event, will feature some big names such as PlayStation, Xbox, Bandai Namco, Capcom, and SEGA; among many others.

These names do not mean that they are part of the broadcast on June 8, the gala that will kick off Summer Game Fest 2023. Some will be present, while others will announce their own materials throughout the summer. Whatever it is, the truth is that a few dizzying months await us, especially after the cancellation of E3 2023.

The opening gala of the Summer Game Fest 2023 will take place next Thursday, January 8. The duration of the show is yet to be confirmed, but we can expect around two hours of announcements and short interviews with developers from around the world.

In 2022 one name stood out above the rest: The Last of Us Part I. The remake of the original delivery of Naughty Dog confirmed its existence with a trailer that was aimed directly at the fans of Joel and Ellie. Along with it appeared the first sketch of the multiplayer project related to the brand. On the other hand, we saw a new gameplay trailer of One Piece Odyssey and the first gameplay of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign. We’ll have to wait and see what surprises are in store for us this time.
