The Continental, the John Wick spinoff series, gets a new action-packed trailer
The Continental, a prequel series to the John Wick movies that’ll tell the story of how Winston came to lead the hotel for assassins, is releasing soon.
Non-stop action, blood, explosions, martial arts, and tension so thick you can cut it with a butterknife. The new trailer for The Continental, the miniseries set in the John Wick universe, looks so good that it even seems to be living up to the legacy of Keanu Reeves. It is not the only spin-off of the saga underway (remember Ballerina, with Ana de Armas, and John Wick 5, are also in production), but it is the closest one.
This three-episode miniseries, called The Continental, “will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe “. Will be released on the Peacock streaming service on September 22, 2023.
The synopsis for The Continental reads as follows: “The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970′s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.
