The Last of Us Part 1: Naughty Dog promises to fix all of the PC port issues
Naughty Dog has acknowledged the issues present in The Last of Us Part 1 for PC, and has promised a variety of updates aimed at improving the game’s performance
As if the infected were not enough, Ellie and Joel now have to face another additional challenge: The Last of Us Part 1 hilarious issues on PC. The port has been harshly criticized due to its multiple errors, which have generated complaints among the gaming community. Naughty Dog has recognized the failures in a statement published on social networks, where it assured followers that they will work hard to reverse the situation.
“We know some of you have not experienced the Naughty Dog quality you expected. Our team is working hard to resolve issues currently preventing some of you from experiencing the game to ensure it reaches the quality level you expect and deserve.”
Another big patch is on the way
Next Tuesday a hotfix will be available that will focus on improving the movement of the camera with the mouse. On the other hand, it will fix some crashes and more. However, the developer has stated that throughout this week they will make a much larger patch available to players.
“We also encourage players to ensure you are using the latest Nvidia, AMD, and Intel graphics drivers. Our team, and our dedicated partners at Iron Galaxy will continue to investigate and address known issues to deliver the great The Last of Us Part I experience you expect.”
The Last of Us Part 1 received a patch last week to improve memory and performance, but there is still a long way to go. The truth is that the players have raised their voices about the problems in texture loading, modeling quality, and framerate drops, as well as constant crashes. None of these issues were present in the PS5 version, released last year.
