The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild soundtrack gets a stunning vinyl release

Nintendo partners with Laced Records to bring the award-winning soundtrack to collectible vinyl.

Update:

Nintendo is giving fans of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild a spectacular way to relive their adventures across Hyrule, announcing a partnership with Laced Records to release the game’s acclaimed soundtrack on collectible vinyl. Arriving on June 19, 2026, the collaboration features two distinct collections: an epic 8-LP Box Set and a more focused Double-LP set, marking one of the first major Nintendo game soundtracks available on vinyl outside of Japan.

Both sets are available for fans to secure immediately, with pre-purchase for the limited-edition colored vinyl versions available now on the My Nintendo Store and through Laced Records. Standard black vinyl editions will also be available at select retailers.

An Epic Listening Experience for Dedicated Fans

The centerpiece of this collaboration is the comprehensive 8-LP Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Soundtrack Box Set, which includes a staggering 130 tracks that have been newly remastered specifically for the vinyl format. Dedicated players will appreciate the meticulous sequencing of the collection, as each of the eight discs revolves around a thematic element that directly mirrors the game’s progression. Listeners will traverse Hyrule through themes focused on open-world exploration, the struggle to free the Divine Beasts from Calamity Ganon, and the discovery of the numerous Shrines scattered across the land. The limited-edition box set is particularly striking, featuring alternative blue and gold splatter effect heavyweight discs, all housed within a rigid board dual slipcase that showcases archival artwork from the development team.

For fans seeking a curated experience, the Double-LP set offers a selection of 34 fan-favorite tracks. This collection includes iconic musical cues such as “Overworld (Day),” “Great Fairy Fountain,” and “Hyrule Castle,” all chosen to transport listeners back to the final days of the Great Calamity. The limited-edition version features eye-catching blue-and-white marbled heavyweight discs.

This release highlights the game’s distinct and innovative musical palette, crafted by composers Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai, and Soshi Abe. From the subtle, gentle piano notes that defined the vast open world to the driving rhythmic tension of enemy battles and the alien sounds of the Sheikah technology, the soundtrack is a character unto itself. Having the music newly remastered and physically preserved on vinyl allows players to appreciate the delicate complexity of the score like never before, offering a premium way to celebrate the iconic title.
