The new ‘Superman’ trailer gives us a glimpse of the Last Son of Krypton in all his glory
This new trailer showcases the film that will kick off the new era of the DC Universe.
James Gunn had already told us. He said that today we should look to the sky because a new ’Superman’ trailer was coming. The brief teaser he showed yesterday was just an appetizer. The fight between Superman and the heavily armored villain, the Hammer of Boravia, prepared us for the latest glimpse of the DC reboot in theaters. Without further ado, let’s watch the trailer:
Look up to the sky
The trailer starts with Lois Lane interviewing Superman, using that as the narrative drive to show what the conflict in the movie is, and this duality between Superman as a person that wants to do good as opposed to the symbol that watches over the US and represents the country. It also showcases a lot of thrilling scenes with heroes and villains of James Gunn’s new DC Universe, leaving one thing very clear: the movie is going to be packed with action.

‘Superman’ shows a promising DC Universe
‘Superman’ is the first movie in this new DC Universe by James Gunn and Peter Safran, after erasing almost all traces of the Snyderverse, except for a few characters. David Corenswet takes over for Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, but there will be many more changes and new DC Comics characters. Following this movie will be the second season of ‘Peacemaker’, again with John Cena, ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’, starring Milly Alcock, and ‘Lanterns‘, which will be a series starring Kyle Chandler (Hal Jordan) and Aaron Pierre (John Stewart) as the two most popular human members of the Green Lantern Corps.
‘Superman’ is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on July 11, 2025.
