The new teaser trailer for season 4 of ‘The Witcher’ reveals its release date: this is what Liam Hemsworth looks like as Geralt of Rivia

The series will arrive on the platform at the end of October.

Update:

Henry Cavill hangs up his witcher medallion. The actor who played Geralt of Rivia in the first three seasons of ‘The Witcher’ is stepping down and handing over the reins to Liam Hemsworth, who will take on the role starting in season four. Netflix has just shared its first teaser trailer, confirming that the new episodes will be available on October 30.

Henry Cavill’s departure has not interrupted Netflix’s plans for the series. Not only will there be a fourth season, but the series will end with a fifth, as previously announced by the platform itself.

The teaser, which you can see above, was shown during the Canelo vs. Crawford fight, broadcast on Netflix. Although Hemsworth already appeared in character in the first teaser, the new trailer shows him in full regalia.

The Witcher gets a makeover

“One of the things we always say is that it wouldn’t be The Witcher if everything ended happily,” said Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the series’ showrunner. “This is the beginning of a two-season journey for our family to finally reunite and be together — hopefully forever.”

The showrunner has suggested that viewers be open to surprises and accept that things look different, even though the foundation will remain the same. “We also have this amazing opportunity, halfway through a series, to relaunch it — to say, ‘Things are different, we’re coming out of the gate with a bang, and it’s bigger and better than ever.’”

The first three seasons of ‘The Witcher’ are available on Netflix.
