The new trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI was revealed, showcasing an amazing-looking Vice City

“We’ve got more guns than the law allows.”

GTA 6 seguno trailer confirmado

Grand Theft Auto VI has been a long time coming. More than a year and a half has passed (508 days, we counted) since the release of the first trailer, and just last week, Rockstar Games announced a delay of almost six months. However, it’s not all bad news. As many experts predicted, the surprise factor would play a significant role in the announcement, and without further ado, Trailer 2 of the highly anticipated title has been released. Without further ado, you can watch it below:

Here’s a glimpse of Vice City and its protagonists

The trailer reveals the first details about the characters we will control in the game: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. They are reunited after Lucia is released from prison. It shows a lot of everyday life in Vice City, as well as some of its madness, partying, and crime. Wait a minute—is that Phil Cassidy (or his son) in the Ammu-nation commercial?

The long wait until May 2026!

Last Thursday, Rockstar Games announced that the release date of Grand Theft Auto VI had been changed from fall 2025 to May 26, 2026. Although this announcement came as a surprise and contradicts Take-Two’s promises that the game would be released by the announced date, it at least provided clarity that the game is still on its way.

“We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game,” Rockstar said in a press release.

For now, our return to Vice City looks promising, though it’s still a long way off for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
